We try to take my parents on some of our vacations simply because they are getting up in years and they don't travel out of town  that much anymore.  We had a great time, the weather and the temp was perfect. We stayed at the most beautiful resort, Dollywood's Dream More Resort, I highly recommend it if you head towards Pigeon Forge in the future! We spent some time at Dollywood, went to Cades Cove and the mountain , saw quite a bit of wildlife and just really enjoyed some time away off of a schedule. Of course, by the time we got home, we needed a vacation from our vacation. I hope everyone has wonderful vacations and take your parents with you sometimes, the time with them and the memories will be worth it.
