My husband and I decided to take a vacation back to the mountains, we were there last September but had to cut our trip short due to a family member becoming very ill and unfortunately  passing away. We try to take my parents on some of our vacations simply because they are getting up in years and they don't travel out of town  that much anymore.  We had a great time, the weather and the temp was perfect. We stayed at the most beautiful resort, Dollywood's Dream More Resort, I highly recommend it if you head towards Pigeon Forge in the future! We spent some time at Dollywood, went to Cades Cove and the mountain , saw quite a bit of wildlife and just really enjoyed some time away off of a schedule. Of course, by the time we got home, we needed a vacation from our vacation. I hope everyone has wonderful vacations and take your parents with you sometimes, the time with them and the memories will be worth it.
